Meaghan Gould – House Director

Meaghan Gould, Philadelphia PA is a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame IN. Meaghan graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and specializes in vocal performance. During her time at Saint Mary’s, she took part in the Rome Program, studying abroad in Rome during the spring semester of her Junior year. She was also involved in music ministry, was the CNAfME President, and the leader of the Choir Board. Her senior comprehensive project was entitled the Art of Arranging: an in-depth look at arranging Art songs for Treble Choir. Meaghan works for St.Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Collingswood, NJ as a primary cantor for weekend masses, weddings, and funerals. She is an active member of the choir and cantors for many of the parish concerts. Meaghan has been involved in Catholic church music ministry since she was a junior in high school. She enjoys choral performing and most especially choral conducting. She is excited to return to Dublin as this year’s House Director!

Emma Zainea

Emma is originally from Grand Rapids, MI, and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in Philosophy and Theology. She has always had a heart for ministry, with a deep desire to serve and uplift others through her faith. During her time at Notre Dame, she studied abroad in Maynooth, Ireland, an experience that expanded her love for Irish culture. Emma was deeply involved in Campus Ministry and the Irish Dance team throughout her years at Notre Dame, and she is enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve with the House of Brigid, where she looks forward to bringing her passion for ministry to Ireland. In her free time, she enjoys painting, traveling, hiking, and yoga.

Sophie Austin

Sophie Austin is from Granby, CT and graduated from Villanova University this past May with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and minors in Mathematics and Communication. Music and community have always been an important part of Sophie’s life. She plays the trombone, bass trombone, and baritone horn and was an active member in the Villanova University Band, Jazz Band, and Villanova’s liturgical music ensemble, Pastoral Musicians. During her senior year, Sophie worked as a student worker for the Pastoral Musicians in Villanova’s Office of Mission and Ministry and through her experiences became more interested in music ministry. Sophie enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to start this new adventure in Dublin with House of Brigid!
