We’re back! I was the last to arrive back in Wexford last night after a nice, long, relaxing break in Switzerland. So far, all that I’ve done is rosary and Mass! Everyone took the day off yesterday to mourn the loss of the Fighting Irish and to recover from staying up all night. A very disappointing loss, but we must move on… and we have a lot of things coming up to occupy ourselves!
Confirmation, diocesan and parish workshops, more class masses, lots of choirs, and St. Brigid’s Day is coming up! And thanks to the ND Folk Choir, we have a beautiful countdown calendar to St. Brigid’s Feast Day! It is similar to an Advent calendar in that it marks each day, but it starts with Christmas and ends with February 1st. For each day we attach felt leaves or small woodland creatures to a large tapestry with St. Brigid and a tree!
