Hello friends! and sorry for being a day late! We were in Dublin on Monday and Tuesday for a secret workshop that I’m not allowed to tell you about…
But what has been happening with us? Friday night we had an informational meeting about World Youth Day 2013 in Rio de Janeiro! There were about 15-20 people at the meeting and a few of us are thinking of attending as well. It was so fun seeing footage from last year’s group at WYD in Madrid! Here’s the youtube video of the official song if you want to get it stuck in your head…

Later on Friday night, after folk group rehearsal, we went out for the first celebration of my birthday. My housemates are great! It was a very fun night that ended with toast and doritos!
We had our usual weekend liturgies and they were great! On Sunday, the All Ireland hurling final was on and we had the pleasure to watch it with Dan and Stasia in their lovely home. Boo Kilkenny! You’ll get ’em next year, Galway! What an exciting, fast-paced game! Maybe I’ll start playing it! Or…maybe not!
Check it out!
On Sunday night, my housemates made a beautiful Chicago Bears cake and gave me very thoughtful gifts and sang me a beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday! I am so blessed! What a great weekend!
Well…that’s it for now! Tune in for Nick on Friday!
Yeah! And how many minutes of actual play is there in an American football game?
You guys know how to play ball!
